Playoffs:
Playoff games will be 40 minutes (4 quarters of 10 minutes).
The clock will be run time until the final 2 minutes of the 4th quarter.
Teams will be granted 1 30-second timeout in the 4th quarter.
Overtime
If needed, playoff games will run a 3-minute overtime. If after the overtime the game is still tied, teams will participate in a “shootout” to determine the winner.
Shootout format
3 players from each team will take a 3-point shot from the top of the key. Whichever team makes more, will win the game (i.e. red team makes ⅓ and blue team makes ⅔, blue team wins).
The team that won the jump ball will determine who goes first.
Teams will shoot in alternating order (i.e. red #1, blue #1, red #2, blue #2 etc.)
If both teams make the same number of shots in the initial 3, they will then compete in a “shot-for-shot” format to determine the winner.
Only players who are still eligible to play in the game can participate in the shootout (i.e. a player who has fouled out, cannot participate).
